DELI ASSISTANT

As a part of our latest expansion, we have created a delicatessen, offering speciality charcuterie products, cheeses and other fine and exclusive produce.  This is a unique opportunity to join a team in a brand new area of our store. 

We will be looking at a person with a passion for produce, a sound of knowledge and an ability to share this with your team and customers alike. Previous experience in a similar boutique retail environment is a must

Duties include:

  • Dealing  with customer enquiries
  • Presentation and merchandising of stock
  • Meet internal and external OHS compliance standards
  • Working to sales targets
  • Provide an outstanding and unique customer experience
  • Be an ambassador for your department and Oasis Bakery at all times

Applicants should have:

  • A thorough knowledge of small goods, different cheeses and antipasto
  • At least 3 years' experience in a boutique delicatessen or similar
  • Excellent communication 
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets
  • Outgoing and engaging personality
  • Proactive and energetic
