The Yellow Peril - a tropical turmeric smoothie

A delightfully tropical mix of mango, banana, mint, lime & coconut milk with a pinch of turmeric.

 

Ingredients:

TO BLEND

½ banana chopped

½ mango frozen chopped

4 x large mint leaves

1 tbs lime juice

½ tsp turmeric

Drizzle of oil to coat

300 ml coconut milk 

 

FOR GARNISH

30g coconut flakes

½ rose water syrup

½ crushed frozen rasperries

2 mint leaves 

 

 

Method:

 

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender
  2. Add 300ml coconut milk
  3. Blend until desired texture is gained 
  4. Dip rim of cup in rose syrup
  5. Dip rim of cup in freeze dried raspberries (crushed)
  6. Fill glass with smoothie
  7. Cover ¾ of the top with coconut flakes
  8. Place 2 mint leaves on the edge of the smoothie next to the coconut
  9. Slide your straw in the smoothie next to the coconut
  10. Enjoy
